Seven Signs
The struggle of Dawn and Dusk for the power of the Signs
Two sides take part in the struggle to possess the power of the Seven Signs - the Revolutionary Army of Dusk and the Lords of Dawn. To participate in the struggle for the Seven Signs, a player must join one of the sides for the duration of the struggle. Once you choose a side, it will be impossible to switch to the other side until a new round of the struggle begins 2 weeks later. Also, at the moment of choosing a side, the player must choose the Seal they will fight for.
Who can play for which side
Players who have obtained their second profession:
- Revolutionary Army of Dusk. Only players who do not belong to clans or alliances that own castles can join this side. To join, the player must talk to a Priest of Dusk in any town.
- Lords of Dawn. Players from clans that own castles can join this side for free. Other players can join by paying 50,000 adena. In addition, each castle owner can buy up to 300 Certificates of Approval from a Chamberlain NPC and pass them on to other players. The certificates do not expire: a player who has once chosen the Dawn side using a certificate can choose the same side in a new round of the struggle for free. To join, the player must talk to a Priest of Dawn in any town.
Players who have obtained their first profession but not their second: can join either side.
Players who have not obtained their first profession: cannot take part in the struggle for the Seven Signs.
The struggle for the Seven Signs is divided into 2 stages - the stage of choosing a side and fighting (the Competition stage) and the stage of receiving rewards and bonuses (the Victory stage). To always stay informed of the latest events and track the progress of each side, a player can buy a Score of Seven Signs from any Priest of Dawn or Dusk for 500 adena. Before choosing a Seal, you can see what choices other players have made in the Score table.
Competition stage
The Competition stage begins at 00:00 on the Monday following the sieges and ends exactly 7 days later. During the Competition stage, players choose a side and a Seal. Players of each side can hunt in the Catacombs and Necropolises for Lilim, Nephilim, Lilith and Gigant monsters, getting Seal Stones from them. The total number of stones obtained will affect the outcome of the competition.
Another aspect of the Competition stage is players' participation in the Festival of Darkness - a serious challenge with a considerable reward. Victory in the Festival of Darkness also affects the outcome of the entire struggle. Festivals of Darkness are held in the Oracles.
Collecting Seal Stones
Each color has its own value: blue - 3 points, green - 5 points, red - 10 points. However, simply possessing these stones does not affect the current overall score of each side. To change the sides' scores, these stones must be turned in to the priests of each side respectively. The stones can also be traded with other players. The stones can be exchanged for ordinary adena at a 1-to-1 rate with the Black Market Trader of Mammon depending on the stones' value: blue - 3a, green - 5a, red - 10a.
Festival of Darkness
Only players who have joined one of the sides can take part in the Festival of Darkness. The point of the festival is for a group of 5-9 people to hold out against constantly spawning and strengthening monsters for 18 minutes. During this time you need to rack up as high a victory score as possible and register it with your side's Oracle. Victory is awarded to the group that registered the highest score. The competition itself is divided into 5 classes - from the lowest to the highest S-class. Each winning group adds a certain number of points to one of the sides' pool. The current state of the struggle for the Seven Signs can be viewed in the Score table.
Winners and the Victory stage
Following the Competition stage, depending on the points scored by each side, the winning side is determined, and the Victory stage begins. It is also determined whether one of the sides managed to gain the right to possess one of the Seals. Depending on the conditions of victory, the winning side receives the corresponding bonuses, and the losing side - penalties.
Determining the winners
In both parts of the Competition stage, either side can earn no more than 500 points. More precisely, those 500 points are distributed between the sides according to certain rules. The turned-in stones affect the number of points each side receives, in percentage terms. For example, Dawn turned in stones worth a total of 7,000 points, while Dusk turned in stones worth 3,000 points. The total value of all turned-in stones is 10,000. Thus, Dawn gets 70% and Dusk gets 30%. The final score of each side for collecting stones will be 350 and 150 respectively.
For victory in the Festival of Darkness, depending on the class in which one of the sides' groups won, a certain number of points is awarded, totaling 500. The points scored via Seal Stones and for victory in the Festival of Darkness are summed up, and the winner is determined by the results: whoever has more points is the winner. The points scored by the winning side are reset to zero, while the losing side's score is carried over to the next round of the struggle.
Determining the owners of the Seals
If the losing side previously owned Seals, it loses control over them. To take possession of a Seal's power, the winning side needs 35% or more of its players to have chosen that Seal. If the winning side already owned a Seal previously, it needs 10% or more of the winning side's players to have chosen that Seal. If the winning side did not reach the required percentage to gain or retain possession of a Seal's power, it cannot make use of it.
Victory stage
After the winning side and the owners of the Seals are determined, players can visit their side's priests and oracles to receive their reward - ancient adena. The size of the reward is calculated from the ratio: 1 point of turned-in stone value = 1 ancient adena. Players of the losing side cannot receive ancient adena from the priests; however, the score of turned-in stones is preserved, and if they win the next round, the players will be able to claim all the ancient adena at once.
Winners can also receive a reward for victory in the Festival of Darkness. Unlike stone collection, the losing side will get nothing for the Festival of Darkness in the next round of the struggle. Ancient adena can be used to buy various items from those same priests and the brotherhood of Mammon, as well as exchanged for ordinary adena at a 1-to-1 rate with the Black Market Trader of Mammon.
If the Army of Dawn wins, a solar eclipse occurs and the sky turns a violet hue, symbolizing the approaching Chaos. If the Revolutionary Army of Dusk wins, a lunar eclipse occurs and the all-seeing eye of Shilen becomes visible - a herald of the coming Destruction.
Seal bonuses and penalties
Each Seal gives the winning side bonuses and the losing side penalties.
Seal of Avarice
During the Victory period, only players of the winning side that owns this seal can enter the Necropolis. A player who enters the Necropolis by dishonest means will be teleported out of it by any monster or NPC. NPCs that teleport players into the Necropolises will sell various buffs to players of the winning side for ancient adena. The buffs last from 1 to 2 hours. Teleportation into the Necropolis will also be free.
Lilith and Anakim - two raid bosses needed to raise a Soul Crystal to level 11 - can appear in the Necropolises. A Trader of Mammon appears in the Necropolises, from whom you can buy various items for ancient adena. The Trader of Mammon does not stay in one place but randomly teleports from one Necropolis to another. If neither side owns the Seal, traders will not appear in the Catacombs.

The debuffs last from 1 to 2 hours. Oracles of Revelations also move around the towns and cast various good spells (buffs) on players of the winning side. The buffs last from 1 to 2 hours.
A Blacksmith of Mammon appears in the Catacombs, from whom you can exchange and upgrade weapons and obtain other services for ancient adena. The Blacksmith of Mammon does not stay in one place but randomly teleports from one Catacomb to another. If neither side owns the Seal, blacksmiths will not appear in the Catacombs.
