Battlestate Games' Q1 2026 report: between Jan, Mar they banned 25,000 accounts in Escape from Tarkov, but only 54% were for CHEATERS, the other 46% were punished for RMT, botting and banned scripts ⚠️
Bans now run daily; false positives still occur, though detection accuracy has improved. BSG says it won't pursue cheat authors in court, legal action is too slow and costly. Planned measures: kernel protection (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, VBS), a proactive detection system to cut cheater lifetime, and higher death compensations with anti‑abuse safeguards.
