In January 2026 Benoît Riche, who worked on Batman: Arkham Origins and Valhalla, left Ubisoft and moved to Servo Games (per LinkedIn). The project is now in the hands of Jean Guesdon, appointed in February as creative director and head of Assassin's Creed content; insider j0nathan says Guesdon has already cut many magical features, including the cat-control.
