Voice actor Erika Lindbeck admits Misty began as a PASSING, empty character, she expected Meredith Stout to be the big role. Devs rewrote Misty repeatedly; the breakthrough came when they reimagined her as a «soft Harley Quinn from New Jersey» and expanded her into a spiritual counterpoint to the cold tech of Night City. Misty ultimately outshone Meredith and became one of Lindbeck's favorite roles, while the actor still jokes about the original, "punished" version.
