🪦 Epic Games is trimming three Fortnite modes at once: Ballistic, Festival Battle Stage and Rocket Racing. The first two go offline on 16 April with patch 40.20; the racing mode stays active until October 2026.
All user islands built on UEFN racing templates will be removed. PvP is getting cut, but the music side (Fortnite Festival and Jam Stage) survives, Epic says it's doubling down on projects that actually keep players long-term after the layoffs. RIP
