⚡️Not Warhorse, the unannounced third‑person Lord of the Rings action is being led by Crystal Dynamics, funded by the Investment Authority of Abu Dhabi. It's described as a Hogwarts Legacy-scale project with roughly $100M behind it.
Insider Gaming broke the story in Oct 2025. Sources say devs behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance might be involved, but Crystal Dynamics is listed as the lead, the studio has endured four layoff rounds this year (another 20 cuts recently). Embracer declined to comment; release is still FAR off. WILD
