🎮 Mass Effect for Prime Video is being reworked, Amazon MGM Studios' TV chief Peter Friedlander wants the scripts to appeal to NON-GAMERS.
According to The Ankler, the show is at the stage where it could be greenlit, but execs asked for rewrites to broaden its audience; game adaptations often either turn into an in-joke parade for fans or lose the game's spirit. Meanwhile BioWare continues to work on the franchise after layoffs in early 2025 and amid talks about an EA deal.
