⚡️Cory Barlog's new God of War is rumored to be a prequel about Faye, and supposedly a radical tonal shift.
Insider Tom Henderson points to an April reveal: this isn't a remake or a spin‑off but a fast‑paced action title in the vein of Devil May Cry. Targeted release is the first half of 2027. Sony could unveil it at State of Play (where Marvel's Wolverine might also appear). If true, this will be INSANE, the boldest experiment in the franchise.
