⚠️ Nintendo is cutting Switch 2 production by a third, shipping 4 million instead of the planned 6 million, after holiday sales, especially in the US, missed expectations.
The console still had the fastest Nintendo launch and quickly surpassed 17 million, but December's Pokémon Pokopia sold under 1 million copies and failed to boost demand. Analysts say hitting the 19 million target will likely require more games, new SKUs and stimulus to revive consumer interest. WILD
