Controversial Palworld knockoff Pickmos has been pulled from Steam, publisher Networkgo said on 16 April it's taking direct oversight to "improve the game based on player feedback."
The project renamed itself from Pickmon to Pickmos just a week earlier (supposedly to fit a "great Cosmos" lore), but many see that as a flimsy attempt to distance from a Nintendo‑adjacent brand. The Steam community slammed the release as plagiarism and an asset‑flip made from stolen models and fan art; devs promise to rework assets and relist the store page after publisher sign‑off.
