⚠️ Piranha Games, the studio behind MechWarrior 5, says it CUT 30% of its staff; CEO Russ Bullock confirmed 17 people left the team.
Despite the layoffs, the studio insists the unnamed DLC for MechWarrior 5 is still on track for May, and a new "MW" product is planned for autumn. Narrative director Chris Lowrey kept his role but called the past week rough, noted last year's cuts were even worse, and admitted he's not overly optimistic about the future.
