🚀 Road to Vostok recouped a "multi‑year" production budget within 24 hours of its early access launch on 7 April 2026, shooting straight up the Steam charts.
Solo dev Antti Leinonen, an ex‑Finnish officer, called the launch "absolute madness". The game earned Very Positive reviews; after switching from Unity to Godot in 2023 it still found its crowd. Players are exploring Zone 05 on the Finland, Russia border, fighting bandits and prepping for the permadeath East. Secured funding lets the developer double the map, add new survival systems and, down the line, a CO‑OP mode. WILD
