Operations director Alister McFarlane says it's a spiritual successor to Garry's Mod, built on Source 2, and will ship robust creator tools for making and publishing community projects.
Valve allows user-made projects to appear in the store with NO-FEE, a real boost for creators. Release is set for April 28 on Steam at $20; creator Harry Newman stresses the goal is break-even, not profit maximization.
