⚠️ Slay the Spire 2's first major update moved beta changes into the main build and triggered a fresh round of review-BOMBING: controversial balance nerfs hit several popular cards.
Despite selling over 5 million copies and holding strong peak players, fresh reviews slipped from Very Positive to Mixed. A few hundred negative ratings were recorded at the patch, and the game previously amassed ~20k bad reviews, the negative wave is likely to grow as more players encounter the changes.
