Stellaris is getting a flexible portrait‑swap system and a spider‑focused mode 🕷
After community feedback and the Utopian Abundance mod, devs turned the joke of Arachnophobia Mode into a scriptable Portrait Substitution, a configurable TOOL that replaces portrait types, lets players filter out unwanted spider content, and enables custom visual mods. Arachnophilia Mode remains as a showcase of how the system works.
