⚡️ The Division 2 is rolling into its second decade, the franchise hit 40 million players and the Battle for Brooklyn expansion (released 2025) set a Steam concurrent-users record.
Massive ditched plans to end support in 2020, built the sequel around endgame, keeps patching old code to fight technical debt, rejects free-to-play and is working on The Division 3 and mobile Resurgence. The exit of Juliana Gerity in early 2026 didn't slow the roadmap, leadership expects the series to stay relevant for at least a decade. WILD
