🚀 Closed beta of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn from Owlcat Games already got early praise, RPGsite, Eurogamer and Polygon call it a legit cure for Mass Effect nostalgia.
Expect third‑person action, your own ship, charismatic companions and romances; the lore is woven into gameplay, so you don't need to know the books or show. Combat is more dynamic, flanking, zero‑G firefights and bulky suits add realism, but controls feel SLUGGISH and need polish. Owlcat admits AI helped with prototypes, yet promises the final content will be 100% human-made. Launch planned for 2027.
