🧙♀️ Ubisoft pulled about 50 people off Assassin's Creed Hexe, reports insider Tom Henderson.

They weren't fired immediately, devs were parked IN LIMBO inside the company and risk losing their jobs if they don't land a project within 3 months. New content head Jean Guesdon gutted the "magic" (yes, even the cat companion); Hexe now takes a grounded approach to witchcraft. Release is set for June 2027, but the cuts could push the launch toward late 2027.
