🔪 Ubisoft has downgraded the hidden blade to a cinematic finisher, in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced you can't equip the blade as a standalone weapon anymore: the hero fights with paired swords, and the blade only activates for scripted finishers in specific moments.
The change comes with a full combat rework, parries and a stun meter to make fights more dynamic. Players call it a BUMMER and worry it will reduce combat variety, make kill animations repetitive and kill the little joy of flashing blades outside fights. Launch is July 9 on PC (Steam, Epic, Ubisoft Connect), Xbox Series and PS5
