⚡️ Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodlines 2 received a spring patch from The Chinese Room: a major melee overhaul and content reshuffle. The protagonist can now fight with MELEE weapons, knives, hammers, bats, while telekinesis remains and modes are switchable. Blocking works from standstill, aim-slowdown added, plus 17 collectible notes, more XP and numerous fixes/rebalance.
Saves improved with persistent checkpoint copies. Fast travel added in Fabian sections via NPCs. Content gated by clans (Mrs Thorn only for Tremere; Nico quests exclusive to Banu Haqim). Several main quests were moved to side missions (The Dutiful Beloved, Turning Down The Heat, A Plaything Discarded, Little Book of Blackmail, Dish of the Day). Patch ships with the first story DLC about sheriff Benny Maldun; an Isabella DLC is due this summer. Available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series with Russian text.
