Indie studio behind Wanderstop, Ivy Road, will shut down on 31 March after failing to secure funding or a publishing deal, their second game Engine Angel won't launch. NOPE 😞
The team (including Davey Wreden and Daniel 'C418' Rosenfeld, plus Karla Zimonja) said they tried to find investors; Wanderstop, a tea-shop sim released in March 2025, scored 92% positive on Steam and 80 on Metacritic. Publisher Annapurna Interactive will share details later about the year-long "final surprise" the team prepared.
