The Last Gas Station

🐼 The Last Gas Station is a cozy sim where you play a red panda, launching on April 28. Alawar confirmed a PC release on Steam; a demo and Russian text localization are available.

You inherit the last gas station in an EV‑dominated world: clean the lot, stock the shop, man the till, pump fuel and manage prices. Expand services (tire inflation, maintenance), upgrade gear and grow the business, while a creeping mystery about the previous owner unfolds. Pro tip: don't wander outside at night.

Samson

😬 Devs are SAVING Samson, but seriously, why launch it in such a broken state?

Studio Liquid Swords unveiled an emergency plan after the disastrous release on 8 April: major patches are scheduled for 15 and 22 April. Early fixes nudged the game up on Steam; upcoming updates promise optimization, stability and bugfixes driven by community reports. The title now ranks among 2026's worst launches with 48 on Metacritic, and critics call it a GTA‑clone with a bland script and repetitive gameplay.

People of Note

🎉 People of Note enjoyed a warm, unexpectedly positive launch, creator Jason publicly thanked the community. BIG THANKS for the buzz on Steam, Discord and socials, it pushed the game forward.

Iridium Studios is collecting feedback and bug reports and is already working on the first patch to boost stability and overall polish. To celebrate the launch they released a special studio bundle, sale runs until April 24 with a dynamic discount that still grants savings if you already own some titles.

Metro

👀 RUMOR: a new Metro could be announced next week, insiders say the long wait might finally end.

The leak was first posted by AlexandreNGamR and later backed up by NateTheHate; 4A Games has made no official comment. The last mainline entry dropped in 2019, and the studio has insisted it's still committed to single‑player story-driven games and preparing a new chapter. Whether the sequel continues Artyom's saga or tells someone else's story remains unknown, but fans will be happy to get back to the universe either way.

1.0

⚡️Hotfix ahead of 1.0: studio Moon rolled out a hefty patch for No Rest for the Wicked as the team gears up for the FINAL push.

Big polish pass: parry VFX got an overhaul, the compendium was updated and rune audio reworked; in PvP duels now show stamina indicators and allow backstab attacks. Devs fixed over 40 bugs and rebalanced traps. No exact early‑access exit date yet, the team is switching fully to preparing the full launch.

$200M

🚨 Report: Marathon's budget topped $200M, with extra costs it may have blown past $250M.

Released just over a month ago on PC and consoles; roughly 70% of players are on PC. Avg playtime, 28 hours; 22% logged >50h, 7% >100h. Concurrent peak slipped to ~25-30k (launch 88k, beta ~143k). PANIC among players fearing a quick shutdown, but Bungie says they plan years of updates. Available on PC (Steam), Xbox Series & PS5; fully localized to Russian.

Battlefield 6

⚡️ Battlefield 6: the Nightfall season wraps on May 12 and the third support phase kicks off with NO DOWNTIME.

Despite a shrinking audience, Battlefield Studios sticks to the schedule: classic maps Plaza and Golmud Railway are set to return, iconic weapons M16A3 and RPK-74M will be added, and content will be rolled out in chunks over several weeks for pinpoint balance tweaks.

Arknights: Endfield

⚡️Arknights: Endfield, update 1.2 «Dawn of Spring» lands on 17 April 2026. The spotlight is the Ulin chapter, the new Stone Marker area and a rising crisis.

An emergency comm from Zhuang Fangyi: she makes her playable DEBUT, electricity-heavy attacks mixed with swordplay. Ardashir shows up in the new zone and Neferit moves into open conflict. Expect extra maps, a test area later in the cycle, expanded factory/base building, fresh events and more player rewards.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

⚠️ Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is going through a PURGE after poor sales and a bumpy launch.

According to Gamersky, studio Leenzee carried out mass layoffs: the team was reportedly disbanded and director Xia Siyuan has already started a new company. Rumours of unpaid wages and looming lawsuits are spreading; planned DLCs now look uncertain. No official comment so far, the industry is watching.

The Legend of California

⚠️ The Legend of California will stay in alpha longer, devs paused the beta push to fix serious server performance issues and brutal LAGS.

The alpha showed crazy engagement, players spent about 9 hours on average building ranches, fighting bandits and exploring, and the community stayed surprisingly patient. But servers couldn't hit targets: cap dropped to 45 players per server (sometimes lower), causing lag, connection issues and crashes. The next phase will be another alpha with fewer slots; priority is client & server optimization, fixes for building/resource systems and improvements to PvP and world events.
