Samson

⚠️ Samson, the debut from Liquid Swords led by Christofer Sundberg, launched bumpy: Steam sits at 54% positive as players report BROKEN mechanics, crashes and repetitive content.

Sundberg admitted the issues and promised fixes: a patch is due on 10 April, it aims to stop compilation hangs, fix crash causes, clean up gameplay/mission/progress bugs, finish polishing and add up to 8 save slots. The game is currently PC‑only (Steam, Epic) with no Russian localization; devs say they'll keep patching and improving the title.

Sierra

Blizzard dropped an animated reveal for their 51st hero, Sierra, a "Damage" operative in Overwatch, set to join Season 2 "Rule of the Claw".

The trailer shows Sierra breaking into a vault as the terrorist group called "Claw" prepares to steal weapons; she gets beaten but her drone tracks the thieves. Sierra appears able to latch onto her drone and hover, and her dart marks enemies so shots can home in without aiming, feels like a LEGAL CHEAT. Gameplay footage airs today at April 9, 19:00 MSK. Season 2 launches on April 14, 21:00 MSK 🤖

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

Creators of Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, Unfrozen and Hooded Horse, dropped a detailed look at the revamped faction Hive 🐝

Hive got a proper rework: Waurmos to smash enemy lines, while new Parasites and Scorpions replace the old Gnuses and Mantises. The faction debuts with early access on April 30, 2026. Day-one roster includes six sides, Hive, Temple, Dungeon, Grove, Necropolis and Rift, and the project is PC-exclusive. Resist it or embrace it? WILD

Mortal Kombat 1

🔥 Mortal Kombat 1 has crossed the 8 million mark, that's an extra 1.8 million sold since August 2025.

Support ended in spring 2025; the game received fighter packs and a single story DLC, and another planned add‑on was canned after weak Khaos Reigns sales. NetherRealm is now on the next project, rumors point to DC, maybe an Injustice sequel. Solid performance for a fighter, but smaller compared to some other recent MK entries. WILD

Project Zomboid

⚠️ Malware found in Project Zomboid mods, devs The Indie Stone warn about obfuscated scripts in 14 mods on Steam Workshop. The scripts created files outside the game folder; up to 2,200 players installed them. Only the test branch Build 42 was hit, stable Build 41 is safe. The hacker's account is banned and the content removed, but deleting mods isn't enough, URGENT: secure your system and scan files for threats.

Free Lanes

Turns out the SONYBOYS actually liked Starfield. 😏

The Free Lanes update kicked up a storm among PS5 owners: the PS Store score hit 9.14/10 from thousands of reviews. The update also landed on PC and Xbox Series, pushed the game back into the Steam top‑10 at its peak (later around 23), and added X‑Tech for deep gear and ship customization plus the big story DLC Terran Armada

Sierra

🚀 Meet Sierra, the 51st hero in Overwatch, a DAMAGE pick arriving 14 April 2026 with Season Summit.

The new animated short on Watchpoint: Grand Mesa shows her foiling a heist by Emre and Freya. Sierra stands out for extreme mobility and a drone‑driven kit: she can tether to her mechanical satellite for rapid repositioning and fires a homing dart that tags enemies, lets attacks partially redirect to the marked target and can detonate after a delay. Fans sliced up lore theories linking her to Deadlock, but Blizzard rolled her out as a standalone character. CRAZY

The First Descendant

😬 Online The First Descendant collapsed by 98%: from a Steam peak of 264,000 concurrent players to about 4,200 by 8 April 2026. Devs admitted the crisis on stream and opted for a full overhaul instead of shutting it down.

Roadmap: first rework core gameplay, loot economy and endgame; then story campaign and side quests; final act: a mega‑dungeon, trial mode and a player→colossus mechanic. Will that actually SAVE the game? Experts are skeptical after the fake‑promo scandals.

Mortal Kombat 1

Not everyone likes it, but it sells: Mortal Kombat 1 hit 8 million copies in 2.5 years 🏆 HATE

Peak on Steam was about 38K concurrent, with a «Mostly Positive» score of 71%. NetherRealm and WB thanked players; devs keep pushing content and balance, use guest fighters smartly, lean on esports and Xbox Game Pass / PlayStation Plus exposure, so despite the split community the game keeps raking in cash.
