MICA

MICA, the studio behind the Girls' Frontline universe, just dropped two new projects, and one reads like Helldivers but with anime girls 🚀

Girls' Frontline: BLUE BUTTERFLY CONTRACT is a full third‑person shooter with open maps and co‑op for PC and mobile, due in 2026. Reverse Collapse: Foxtrot is the much bigger, big‑budget title built on Unreal Engine 5, targeting 2028, basically Helldivers with DOLLS from the GFL world

Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced

🔥 Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced hit its first million wishlists in a week, Ubisoft says that covers all platforms, and with release on July 9 the number will almost certainly keep climbing.

The remake runs on the current Anvil engine and borrows tech from Shadows: dynamic weather Atmos and refined parkour. Players are pissed about no multiplayer, no DLC and the hidden blade not being selectable as a standalone weapon, yet trimming some original content didn't kill the HYPE 😏

Evil Empire

⚡️How an indie studio got the keys to a classic: Evil Empire, known for supporting Dead Cells, explains how that relationship turned into co-development of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

They feared Konami would reject even an Alucard-skin DLC, but the publisher surprised them and the pitch grew into a full collaboration, Operational Director Benjamin Lollan calls it a clear lesson: be bold. Bigger takeaway: corporations are more willing to hand dormant IPs to talented INDIE teams that can breathe new life into a classic.

1C Game Studios

👀 INSANE, 1C Game Studios dropped the story trailer for War of the Worlds: Siberia, an actiony Wells adaptation set in an alternate Russian Empire, 1896.

You play a regular student racing across frozen Siberia, hunted by invulnerable Martian tripods and packs of looters. Devs promise a cinematic, pulp‑style adventure where alien tech collides with pre‑revolutionary Russian atmosphere. Steam release planned for 2027.

Strauss Zelnick

🎮 They don't have that kind of cash: Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, said at iicon that GTA 6 won't feature real-world ads.

He explained the game's universe is wholly fictional and that avoiding real-brand tie‑ins helps preserve the integrity of the experience and the series' satirical tone, so, NOPE to product placement.

Circana

🎮 EXCLUSIVES still move consoles, but their pull is fading: research from Circana says importance dropped by 8 percentage points, and only 41% now pick a console mainly for exclusives.

Social reasons follow, about 38% choose the platform their friends play on, and 36% prefer the simpler, more relaxed console experience. Meanwhile Sony and Microsoft are rethinking release plans: going multiplatform broadens reach, but late ports can dent first‑wave sales, studios are hunting for the sweet spot.

Cinderys

😈 Cinderys dropped a high-end Lilith cosplay from Diablo 4. SICK

The cosplayer keeps delivering premium looks: lore in short, Lilith, daughter of Mephisto, teamed with archangel Inarius to steal the Worldstone, spawn humans/nephalem, then slaughtered demons and angels in Sanctuary to protect her children and was exiled. In Diablo 4 she returns, awakens dark instincts and raises an army, her goal is to forge humanity strong enough to stand against Heaven and Hell, but her methods are brutal and manipulative. A messy, compelling antagonist: protector-mother and demonic seductress.

Remedy

Remedy is ready to BLOW the bubble: Control Resonant drags the madness onto the streets of New York, a warped Manhattan where Dylan Faden runs on walls and glides between towers. 💥

Due 2026: a sprawling city-labyrinth, new factions and a beefed-up enemy roster, from possessed buses to mutated creatures, plus deeper world exploration and the same eerie, science-and-TV‑inspired vibe Remedy refuses to turn into another blockbuster copy.

Replaced

Replaced got an update from Sad Cat Studios after community feedback: FINALLY you can turn off those annoying cinematic black bars.

They added skip-dialog, a collectibles tracker and a level-select to replay individual chapters and hunt secrets; devs admit ultrawide support isn't possible, widening the view breaks combat logic and exposes empty space beyond the set dressing.

World Heroes Perfect

OLDS, assemble, SNK dropped an updated World Heroes Perfect on Steam as part of NEOGEO Premium Selection 🕹️

The release adds rollback netcode for smoother online fights, 9-player lobbies, tournament brackets and an expanded training mode with adjustable speed. The roster features 19 fighters inspired by historical figures, including hidden Son Goku and Neo‑Dio. Vintage chaos guaranteed.
