Steam to Electric

🚂 Announced: Steam to Electric, a VOXEL railroad sim from Kwalee and Galaxy Grove. Coming this year to PC on Steam, with Russian text.

Build a transport empire from steam engines to electric trains: lay routes, haul passengers and cargo, manage signals and production chains; settlements will grow into cities and stations become infrastructure hubs. Expect experimental trains inspired by historical designs, a sandbox mode, and approachable mechanics for newcomers, but serious networks demand tight planning and smart investments.

Marathon

📉 Marathon, an extraction shooter from Bungie, is sliding into oblivion: Steam's daily peak fell to 16k in May, and the game is nowhere in Xbox or PlayStation charts.

About 70% of players are on Steam, the first sale barely moved the needle, for a live‑service shooter that's close to DOOM. Without radical gameplay fixes the project risks fading away within months.

The Last of Us

🔥 Fans of The Last of Us have launched a petition asking Druckmann and Sony to REVIVE the canned multiplayer, hundreds signed in the first day.

Interest reignited after ex‑lead Vinit Agarwal said the online project was 80% done when cancelled in December 2023. Naughty Dog shelved it after 7 years, worried a live‑service would siphon resources from single‑player games. The team is now on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, but fans insist TLOU Online's potential shouldn't be wasted.

Battlefield 6

😒 Battlefield 6 rolled out a preorder for the BATTLEPASS, another monetization move: two options (Standard and Pro). No preorder discount, but early buyers get in-game bonuses.

The Base pass unlocks Verdant L110 and grants two pass levels; Pro adds another weapon set and an XP boost. Season 3 goes live May 12 on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, no Russian localization. Valve has 40% off until May 7. The game is still alive after 7 months, but PC playercount dropped by over 90%.

ZeniMax Online

🔥 "Almost a CHEAT": ex‑head of ZeniMax Online, Matt Firor, raves about Crimson Desert

He calls it a "single‑player version of an MMO": shifting MMO-scale design into singleplayer removes networking headaches, gives that explorer's vibe and light onboarding, Firor even compared it to Breath of the Wild. Says he spent dozens of hours enjoying freedom and slowly mastering deep systems, and predicts big open worlds without mandatory online will be the next industry trend.

Metro 2039

⚡️ Metro 2039 from 4A Games hit 1 million wishlists in just two weeks, the devs say they're stunned and promise to pull us back into Moscow's tunnels this winter.

You'll play as the Stranger: decades after the nuclear strike, a full single‑player campaign focused on survival atmosphere and the classic mechanics fans loved. HYPE?

The Division Resurgence

🤨 The SURPRISE: The Division Resurgence quietly landed on PC, Ubisoft's bid to patch weak mobile earnings.

In the first month after the March 31 launch the mobile game made only $1.69M from 3.43M downloads; revenue slipped from week two. Ubisoft pushed an unannounced PC release to chase players, if numbers don't recover, the shooter could follow other Ubisoft titles into shutdown.

KKND Xtreme

The time has come: KKND Xtreme and KKND 2: Krossfire are getting full online multiplayer on Steam and GOG with crossplay ⚡️

Publisher Ziggurat Interactive announced big FREE updates, open beta kicks off in May, full release set for June 2026. The patch brings 4K support, a 64‑bit map editor, legacy bugfixes, balance tuning and expanded mod tools; veteran modder Andre «IceReaper» Moreno was brought in to keep changes authentic. Dive in.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

🏴☠️ In the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced remake the hidden blade is no longer your main open‑combat tool, it's limited to stealth kills and contextual finishers, so Edward now fights primarily with paired sabres. Devs explained the choice during a Reddit Q&A and admitted it's a controversial change.

Core features survive: social stealth, legendary ships and mini‑games. The map stays the same size, 16×16 km, but gets denser with new islands; the minimap is gone (replaced by a compass), Kenway's fleet is fully integrated into the game without external apps. Parkour from the recent entries (Shadows/Valhalla) is included. Launch on PC and next‑gen consoles is set for 9 July 2026.
