Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced

⛵️ Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced hit over one million wishlists a week after its announcement, Ubisoft dropped details in a Reddit AMA.

The world stays the same 16×16 km but is packed with new islands and city spots; hidden blades are now finishers only, Edward's main weapons are dual swords; side activities like whaling, hunting and tavern minigames remain; naval play swaps the minimap for a compass, adds ship autopilot, while legendary ships remain dangerous; the Kenway fleet missions are built into Resynced (control from the hideout or captain's cabin); Memory Corridor returns in 4K, all original outfits included. Release, 9 July on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect), PS5 & Xbox Series. HYPE

Subnautica 2

⚓️ Subnautica 2 is heading into early access on May 14, but the reveal landed right after CEO Ted Gill was reinstated following a lengthy legal battle.

That timing matters: the announcement came at the tail-end of the dispute, and it may have left him without a proper chance to review the final build. Plenty of room for questions, and juicy chatter in the community.

Subnautica 2

🌊 Subnautica 2 lands in Early Access on May 14 at 18:00 MSK. The standout change: optional co‑op up to 4 players so you can tackle the depths with friends.

Set on a new oceanic alien world, the sequel expands survival systems and adds fresh interaction mechanics, new submersibles and gear. A cinematic trailer teases a hostile, predator‑filled deep, bigger scale and more variety than the first game. The original sold over 18.5 million copies. Big HYPE ahead.

Industria 2

⚡️Industria 2 is out on Steam, an atmospheric shooter that visually nods to Half‑Life, made by a tiny 8-person team. The release slipped from mid‑April to the end of the month because building something this ambitious turned out to be a proper shitshow.

The story picks up with Nora trapped in a parallel dimension: she fights an aggressive AI, scavenges parts and tries to build a device to get back to East Berlin 1989. 20 levels (up to 7 hours), 6 weapon types and unique bosses, SMALL team, BIG vibes. INDIE 🎮

MMO player isn't what they used to be

MMO player isn't what they used to be, games shifted to short sessions and instant access to core hooks 🔁

Modern MMOs favor modular progression, fast onboarding and return bonuses so folks can jump back in without feeling lost. A player-driven economy plus timed events makes the loop: players generate real value via trade, crafting and territory fights, while events create engagement peaks and reasons to RETURN. HARDCORE remains, just not the only route.

Junkfish

Junkfish are back after a decade, and they're bringing dinosaurs right into indie horror again 🦖

If you loved Monstrum, indie terror or Dino Crisis, celebrate: the studio returns to first‑person survival horror. Expect tense, old‑school scares updated with prehistoric threats and big HYPE.
