Star Wars: Galactic Racer

🚀 Star Wars: Galactic Racer, release set for 6 October 2026, trailer reveals all editions.

Studios Fuse Games and Secret Mode accidentally LEAKED the date five days ago, but now it's official: a multiplayer racer, unusual for Star Wars, coming to Steam & Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series. Three editions: Standard, Deluxe (cosmetics) and a Physical Collector with the Kor Sarun: Darc X land-speeder model, priced in the trailer ($59,99 / $79,99 / $159,99) 😏

s&box

Launch of s&box by Facepunch made $1M on day one, then user reviews flipped negative 🤯

Players blame a plain content shortage: creators aren't producing fast enough and a wave of AI-made modes has flooded the game. Devs point at modders; Harry Newman called policing it «tilting at windmills», promising to remove blatantly weak work but not kill creativity. All launch revenue is being funneled into a user-content support fund and creators say they'll pay popular mode authors, yet most chatter is about pricey cosmetics and thin customization. WILD

Atomfall

📺 Atomfall is getting a TV adaptation, the post‑apocalyptic action game from Rebellion is being turned into a series with Two Brothers Pictures. GET HYPE

The screenplay will be by Harry and Jack Williams (the duo behind «Убийца», «Дрянь»), who'll serve as executive producers alongside Alex Mercer; Rebellion's co‑founders Jason and Chris Kingsley are on board from the publisher side. Since its release last year the game has reached over 3.7 million players and won a BAFTA. Its story is inspired by the 1957 Windscale accident but set in an alternate universe, an amnesiac protagonist digging for the truth. Available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PlayStation and Xbox (including Game Pass); Russian subtitles included. No release date or cast announced yet.

Atomfall

⚡️Atomfall is coming to TV, the twist: it's being made by people who ACTUALLY played the game.

The adaptation is led by brothers Harry and Jack Williams of Two Brothers Pictures, the team behind Fleabag. Fingers crossed for a faithful, player‑savvy take, not a cash‑grab, and that the game's spirit survives the move to screen. 🎮

Windrose

⚡️Windrose shipped a modest patch, no flashy overhaul, just a serious push for stability, performance and everyday comfort.

They added a forced relay servers option to help players blocked from P2P (works, but can raise ping). Lots of FIXES: connections for users with non‑English Windows names, reduced CPU/disk load, rare crash fixes including ship weapons and inventory. Content: dozens of building pieces, new garden‑bed variants, fresh farming SFX/VFX and longer travel & campfire music. UI: menu performance improvements, better keybinding, more actions and broader diacritics support.

Microsoft

Microsoft report: revenue from Xbox hardware sales plunged 33% in Q3, the third‑worst quarter in 12 years 📉

The company still grew overall: revenue $82.9B (+18%), net income $31.8B (+23%). $54.5B came from cloud, it carried the quarter (+29%); gaming revenue −7%, content & services (incl. Game Pass) −5%. Nadella and new gaming head Asha Sharma promise "fundamental work" to win players back, but Microsoft forecasts further declines. OUCH

Lord of Hatred

🔥 Lord of Hatred launched on April 28, Diablo 4's second major expansion. Act 8 wraps the Lilith, Mephisto arc, brings Paladin and Warlock, a new island region Skovos, big progression and gear overhauls. Client size jumped to 83 GB without HQ textures and ~160 GB with them, expect launcher freezes.

Key points: level cap lifted to 70 (paragon unchanged), world tiers extended to 12, skill trees now improve active skills only with up to 15 points per skill, added talismans, a Horadric Cube system, new seals/charms slots, cube crafting/merge recipes, boss chest keys gated by T1/T6/T10 and echo Mephisto locked to T10. Overlay map + sharable loot‑filter presets arrived, fishing (117 species) and basilisk mounts added, the Pit got a QoL fix, and season 13 is mostly cosmetic. The Warlock currently feels OP.

Gothic 1 Remake

PRISONERS will remember, in Gothic 1 Remake PC Gamer talked to lead designer Reinhard Pollice about the game's reputation system and living ecosystem.

Killing a peaceful NPC in front of witnesses, even in a harsh mining colony, nets bad rep with the victim's faction; keep it up and people will stop talking to the Nameless Hero. You can KO someone and take their stuff, but to patch things up you need to return the stolen goods. Leave meat out and animals will sniff it out and eat it; predators will fight over a kill, and prey won't turn on a predator. Release on 5 June for PC (Steam, GOG), PS5 and Xbox Series, with Russian voiceover. 😈
