Thick As Thieves

🕵️ Thick As Thieves, Warren Spector's stealth action, lands on PC (Steam) on May 20 for $4.99. The launch build is a short "intro campaign": 16 missions across two replayable maps, six unlockable gear items and roughly 4+ hours of content. No Russian localization, but it's cheap.

Set in an alternate 1900s Kilkarn, it plays like Thief: guards, security systems and even a ghost constable who walks through walls; gadgets range from smoke bombs to a pocket‑fairy that flips switches. Shows multiple thieves (Spider, Chameleon, the latter is locked), 2‑player co‑op, three difficulty levels, loot for gear/upgrades/cosmetics. Megabit/OtherSide say the game will evolve with community feedback; trailer is out.

Nintendo Switch 2

👀 ALERT, an age rating has appeared in Taiwan for Nintendo Switch 2, and it's tied to what many consider the best JRPG of the PS4 era.

That rating is a strong hint: an updated edition of the classic, remaster or port, could be headed to Switch 2. There's no official announcement yet, but the likelihood of a Switch 2 release just spiked

Capcom

👀 Capcom has officially confirmed a story DLC for Resident Evil Requiem. FYI, director Akishi Nakanishi says production is in full swing and a new mini‑mode will be added soon.

According to insider Dusk Golem, the DLC is meant to bridge RE9 with the upcoming remakes Code Veronica and RE Zero. It was originally slated for 2026, but broader delays could push the release into early 2027.

BALL x PIT

⚡️BALL x PIT just got the The Shadow update, two new characters and a reworked respec. NICE

Solo dev Kenny Sana and publisher Devolver Digital dropped a trailer and a 20% sale until May 4. The patch adds Prokhodchik and Tikhonya, 11 new balls, 4 passive skills and a new town hall to reassign abilities. Next big update, The Naturalist, is planned for July.

May 5

🎮 PS+ in May: from May 5 to June 1 subscribers get EA Sports FC 26, Nine Sols and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, EA/Nine on PS5/PS4, Wuchang on PS5.

EA: 750+ clubs, 20k+ players, 120+ stadiums and ~30 leagues, plus an Icons Pack redeemable within a month. Nine Sols is a vivid dao‑punk 2D metroidvania with hub conversations and parry‑focused combat (StopGame: "Amazing"). Wuchang is a Ming‑era China soulslike, explore interconnected zones, loot weapons (including an ancient firearm) and absorb enemy skills; our verdict, "Commendable". Grab the April freebies until May 4: Lords of the Fallen, Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, Tomb Raider I, III Remastered. FREEBIE

MindsEye

👀 The promised "expose" in MindsEye from Build a Rocket Boy turned out to be the Blacklisted mission, a 30‑minute stealth run in Hitman style: disguises, silent kills and low‑key assassination gameplay. The story is full of media‑war nods: a "ritual network" pointing at Ritual Network, a target clearly channeling blogger Cyberboi (legal spat with BARB), and the NYC, Edinburgh, Budapest chain hinting at HQ links to Rockstar Games. So it's a cheeky studio clapback, not a public takedown. WILD

Cache

⚡️Insider was right, Cache is BACK in Counter-Strike 2, the classic map with the Chernobyl NPP on the skyline.

The map got a visual facelift but kept the original layout and point logic, so de_cache veterans will adapt FAST and new players won't need long to learn it. Launch modes: Casual, Competitive, Deathmatch and Retakes; developers may tweak the mode list later.

Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodhunt

🧛 Servers for Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodhunt are offline, Sharkmob AB has officially pulled the plug on the zoomer‑vampire battle royale.

The game has been delisted from digital stores and the official site now redirects to their new tactical shooter Exoborne. The title failed to keep an audience, RIP for the fans.

Ubisoft Montpellier

Ubisoft Montpellier is hiring a technical director for level design on an unannounced, early‑stage project, the job listing explicitly asks for experience with Unreal Engine 5.

The community is already BUZZING: fans immediately connected the posting to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown after last year's hint about a sequel; the studio is also known for Rayman. No official comment yet, for now it's just recruitment. 👀

Warhorse Studios

Warhorse Studios is under fire over AI usage right before their scheduled Reddit AMA, the community wants answers and the DRAMA is building 🤨

Meanwhile, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is still hailed as one of 2025's best games and nobody's denying that. Now the studio has to explain itself.
