Capcom

🤖 Capcom pulled a weird promo move: the Pragmata heroine Diana used binary breadcrumbs to «hack» the publisher's socials and reached Resident Evil pages.

She re-skinned profiles, posts about the Umbrella corp and partner Hugh, and joked she aimed for a Raccoon City billboard but missed. Players loved the crossover, the stunt boosts Pragmata and its soundtrack while making the tiny HACKERGIRL unexpectedly charming on the global stage.

Steam Controller

🕹️ Valve will ship the Steam Controller ahead of the Steam Machine, not marketing, but a CRISIS in component prices.

Engineer Steve Cardinali says the pad doesn't use RAM, so it's much easier to start production while mini‑PCs and the VR headset (Steam Frame) are held up. Valve announced the lineup in Nov 2025 and delayed launches; the controller goes on sale 4 May. They're still polishing the Steam Machine and Steam Deck 2

Arc Raiders

⚠️ In Arc Raiders guns now break BRUTALLY faster: weapons spawn with varied durability based on rarity and location, common guns can spawn with critically low HP and firing wear has been increased, especially for basic types.

Valuable loot is more often found near the center of the map and in enclosed zones, with fewer goodies on the outskirts; rare weapons have become more reliable, and upgrades partially restore durability. The goal is to cut hoarding and ramp up match tension, and to balance aggressive PvP players against those who used to stash gear safely.

Helldivers 2

⚠️ Helldivers 2 just got a major patch 6.2.2: two new biomes, including the franchise's first forest world, plus a new enemy variant and the Exo Experts Warbond leaning into melee and fire.

Exosuits received a big rework: durability up and damage now less prone to limb-breaks, vehicles are TOUGHer. At the same time some enemies deal increased vehicle damage, sparking debate; devs admit some complaints were valid and promise ongoing fixes ⚠️

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers SAVED, rights bought for $4.6M by Italy's Digital Bros (parent of 505 Games) 🛟

The collapse of Chengdu Lingze and staff layoffs looked like the end, but the acquisition hands full IP control to Digital Bros, frees them from royalty payments to the original team, and lets them publish the DLC the devs had ready, fans won't lose the pirate Wuchang's story.

Facepunch Studios

🚀 After years of restarts and redesigns Facepunch Studios finally launched s&box on Steam, a Source 2-based sandbox giving creators tools to build games across genres.

The platform includes built-in monetization: creators can publish straight to Steam and earn without engine royalties thanks to an agreement with Valve. Devs admit the launch isn't perfect, but call it ready for open release and regular updates with the community. JUMP IN 🚀

Loose Cannon

Loose Cannon, new story DLC for Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodlines 2 from Chinese Room is out now 🔫

You play as impulsive Brujah cop Benny Maldun in a prequel set in Seattle that reveals the motives behind his actions before the main campaign and how they helped shape the city. Gameplay leans into aggressive, up‑close combat: vampire powers blended with melee and firearms, unique finishers and an intimidation system, pure RUTHLESS

SHADE Protocol

⚡️ SHADE Protocol drops a new trailer as its Kickstarter goes live, campaign started on June 2, 2026.

This 2D cyber‑fantasy Metroidvania throws you into a dying world consumed by sentient metal called Elityum. You play a replication prototype, Zura, who can rewrite reality and stands as the last hope for both humans and free‑will machines. Explore interconnected Bastions, uncover the war between SHADE and the Xaviers and the all‑devouring SHADE protocol. Gameplay pivots on switching between DAWN and SHADE modes that reshape combat, using music‑coded Tools as weapons, fast skill‑based fights with parries/counters that restore Echo for powerful Instrument attacks, and the UNISON system to bend events and choose outcomes. 🎵

Assassin's Creed Hexe

⚠️ Assassin's Creed Hexe, insider Tom Henderson says 50 core devs were pulled out of the main team

After creative director Benoît Riche left, those staff were moved to Interproject, an internal holding pool that gives 3 months to find another role inside Ubisoft or face dismissal. The publisher calls it routine resource optimisation and rotation, but after recent leadership reshuffles the move looks like a worrying sign for the franchise's darkest, most ambitious entry. 😬
