Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold

❄️ Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold, the sixth expansion, due January 2027; Switch 2 port scheduled August 2026.

Continues the Godless Realms Saga: level cap to 110, two new jobs (tank and physical ranged DPS), new cities/dungeons/trials, raid series and a new Ultimate, huge destructible threats. Two combat modes, Reborn and Evolved (new jobs only in Evolved). Evangelion collab with khara (alliance raids). Patch roadmap: 7.5-28.04, 7.51-02.06, 7.55-28.07, 7.56-08.09. Switch 2 will have EARLY ACCESS, separate subscription (no NSO), 50% sub discount for existing subscribers. PS4 support ends after patch 8.3 (~2 years).

Heroes of the Storm

⚡️ Heroes of the Storm suddenly sprang back, Blizzard dropped a major patch, a small RESURRECTION for the long‑dormant game.

They shuffled maps: Garden of Terror is back in custom modes, Haunted Mines returned to quick matches with reworked objectives, and Warhead Junction got nuke tweaks. New ride: the lone Scrapper Mad Axe monocycle. Respawn timers were shortened mid/late to speed up fights, the unranked mode was removed, hero balance got a big pass, and Arthas received a full overhaul.

Alien: Isolation

Debut teaser for the Alien: Isolation sequel has dropped, a spare 25 seconds from Creative Assembly and SEGA that shows a couple of locations and hints players will leave the ship to survive a xenomorph on a planet surface 👀

The project has been known since autumn 2024, announced by Al Hope for the 10th anniversary of the original. It's still in an early stage of development: no final title, no platform list, and no quick release to expect.

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire

⚡️MOUSE: P.I. For Hire shifted 500,000 copies in its first 7 days, nearly half on consoles, and its 1920s cartoon look nailed expectations.

The shooter has already netted $7,000,000, doubling the development budget; PlaySide Studios stock jumped 3.45%. Strong Steam scores, critic praise and WORD-OF-MOUTH should keep sales climbing. 🔥

inZOI

⚡️Big update for inZOI lands on April 29: the game moves to Unreal Engine 5.6, gets a resource overhaul and heavy optimization with a clear push toward stability across rigs. You'll need to redo graphics settings, devs add flexible performance options and plan to let players share presets later. Content expands too: new jobs (stylist, journalist, researcher, programmer, clothing‑store owner), revamped customization, auto outfit switching, separate outfit slots, more hair/makeup options, plus watches and masks that can affect NPC reactions. The shift is about SMOOTHER gameplay, not just shiny features.

Season 18

MUD, jungles and relentless tropical rain, a test build on Epic spilled the beans on Season 18 of SnowRunner: the setting shifts to Mexico, you'll help archaeologists and slog through swampy, overgrown terrain. 🌧️

Two contrasting maps, a base with a garage to start and a WILD serpentine wilderness; new rigs HIB Billert M816 and Mercer R230; a major rebalance for legacy trucks (new tyre types, improved stability and deep Mercedes-Benz upgrades). Official release: Q2 2026.

Hangar 13

🕵️ Hangar 13 has hired Emily Grace Buck, a former narrative lead from DICE (worked on Battlefield) with credits at Telltale Games and Ubisoft. Mafia just got a serious boost, expect HYPE.

After the rocky launch of Mafia: The Old Country, Buck's arrival is a clear signal: the studio aims to fix the creative slump, oversee the franchise's storytelling and win back players with the next chapter.

Titan Quest 2

⚡️ The Titan Quest 2 hotfix shakes up the summon meta, devs targeted OP combos and wanted to make neglected skills viable, so caster play should feel fresher.

Core Dweller got its armour trimmed and lost Fissure synergy, while Wisps, Automaton and Shadow Clone received solid damage and survivability buffs. New modifiers: Frenzied (swap minion HP for speed) and Autonomous Strength (raw power by giving up active buffs). Result: fewer one‑button setups, more tactical choices, and less of that stubborn NERF‑meta.
