The launch got mixed heat and climbed to Mostly Positive (75%) after 4 days, yet the core problem hit later: mounts can't be permanently tamed. You only knock beasts down in combat to ride briefly, despite promos showing saddled animals that implied true pet mechanics. The supposed permanent dragon unlocks late and comes with a ridiculous 1-hour cooldown, so in a solo play session you get a couple of flights tops. Players on Reddit call it false advertising and demand Pearl Abyss rework the system so the "mount paradise" isn't just marketing.
