You can export one character per account, progress, level, inventory, hotbar and followers with their gear, pick a target server and import via the character creation menu, spawning near the start. Important limits: only one exported character stored at a time, a cooldown to prevent abuse, and clan characters cannot be transferred. Low-pop worlds (especially on consoles) will be merged; players get time to choose new servers, otherwise characters will be moved automatically.
