Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition

Handheld nightmares: Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition from Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco lands on Nintendo Switch 2 on 29 May 2026 👀

The Switch 2 build promises higher resolution and beefed‑up visuals; LN2 originally launched in 2021 on PC and last‑gen consoles (including Switch) and got an Enhanced edition for PS5/Xbox Series in 2022. Mono and Six are back, heading to the Lighthouse through a world warped by the evil Transmission, should be SICK.

Control Resonant

⚡️Control Resonant: Remedy reveals the gameplay is being handled by the largest team in its 30‑year history, the goal isn't to rehash the original, but to surpass it.

The focus is on evolving abilities and their synergy with the world; the game runs on the latest Northlight (see Alan Wake 2). Promised: a full action‑RPG with branching skill trees that can radically change playstyle, tons of side activities and unique encounters. This is gonna be HUGE 🔥

Exodus

A BIT more Exodus gameplay, Archetype dropped a second short clip ahead of their big summer showcase. 🐙

Where the first trailer «Breakthrough on Honsu» focused on a shootout, this one wanders a quiet frozen world: crystal caverns, millennia-old ice monuments, alien architecture and companions Octopus Salt and Eliza, exploring for Sky Remnants that might save humanity.

ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders moved over 14 million copies in the first 15 weeks, with 85% of revenue from the US and Europe, a global break Nexon calls a TROJAN-style win, Junghoon Lee said.

Why it worked: Mono Lake AI shifted routine work to neural tools, letting small teams ship games for a fraction of AAA cost, says Patrick Söderlund. Nexon openly admits using neural nets (there was an audio scandal), and the game's Steam page notes procedural tools assist content creation while humans keep the final say. 🤖

The Last of Us Online

⚠️ The Last of Us Online was roughly 80% finished when Sony pulled the plug, a near‑shipping live‑service that never saw the light. 😔

From Naughty Dog: a large‑scale game set in San Francisco with deep survival mechanics, faction wars and infected that adapt to player groups. Devs were excited, but leadership chose between long‑term live‑ops support and making new single‑player blockbusters, they picked the latter. RIP

Brian Raffel

🎮 Brian Raffel, co‑founder of Raven Software since 1990, is finally going to RETIRE after more than 36 years in the games industry.

Under his leadership the studio became a recognizable brand that released many cult titles (unnamed here), and Raffel played a big role in turning Madison into a dev hub, keeping close ties with the University of Wisconsin and helping students kick off careers in art, design and tech.

Crimson Desert

Modders are quietly boosting the visuals of Crimson Desert: MassiHancer posted an 8K reel showing how Complete RT + ReSTIR GI give the scene real depth, flirting with PHOTOREALISM 🎮

While Pearl Abyss keep releasing gameplay and bug-fix patches, the community focused on lighting, ray-traced GI and ReSTIR GI normalize global illumination and ambient occlusion, fixing the game's occasionally "flat" look without breaking Paivel's original artstyle.

Subnautica

🌊 FREEBIE: the original Subnautica has a free weekend on Steam and Epic, play for free until April 6, 20:00 MSK, saves carry over and the offer is available in Russia.

Average playtime is ~30-40 hours, so you can see most content in a few days; if you like it, until April 9 both the original and the spin‑off are 75% off. Subnautica 2 heads into early access in May on PC and Xbox Series (Game Pass), but it won't have Russian localization.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City

⚡️Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City launches April 30 on PC (Steam) and Quest. 🐢

Pick one of the four turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello or Michelangelo, and fight with signature weapons: precise hits, blocks and dodges, plus parkour across roofs and sewers and gadget upgrades in Donatello's workshop. Single‑player or co‑op for up to 4. English-only. HYPE

The Witcher 4

⚡️ At GDC 2026 NVIDIA and CD Projekt RED demoed a photoreal forest from The Witcher 4 powered by RTX Mega Geometry, full path tracing for all lighting, shadows and reflections.

The test scene used ~1,000,000 trees and 60,000,000 plants across 200 species. Performance: RTX 5090 hit 4K, 80 FPS (DLSS Quality upscaled from 1440p + ray reconstruction); RTX 4070-58 FPS at 1440p. INSANE 🔥
