PlayStation 5 Pro

⚡️PlayStation 5 Pro is edging toward real path-tracing: at GDC Electronic Arts demoed F1 25 running at 1080p upscaled to 4K and holding steady at 30 FPS.

Sony's updated tools, notably PSSR 2.0, together with EA SEED ORCA pushed the demo from ~20 to ~30 FPS. It's a technical demo, not a final build, but the direction is clear: if this tech matures, consoles could close the visual gap with high-end PCs. HYPE

Capcom

🎮 Capcom pulled a crossover: Diana from Pragmata briefly turned VTUBER and popped up on Usada Pekora's stream.

The android debuted as a classic 2D vtuber on Pekora's YouTube, Diana playfully «hacked» Pekora, then they chatted about the Moon, strange lunar filaments and life on the satellite. Both Pekora's audience and Pragmata fans reacted positively, but it's still unclear if Diana will make more appearances.

Active Matter

🎥 The devs of Active Matter released a briefing-style recap voiced by the in-game AI Miss Second, thanking players and saying community feedback drove many of the overhauls.

What changed: co‑op access reworked, raids unlocked with no restrictions, a separate solo mode and tougher match types; harmonization now runs as seasonal progression with resets and rewards; starting a new timeline grants unique weapons and cosmetics. Transport, weapons and contracts were tweaked: you can carry allies and loot, mission rewards expanded, some gear got balancing, and new modules (laser sights, grips) were added. The team keeps iterating based on player data.

Pearl Abyss

💸 Pearl Abyss celebrated the big launch of Crimson Desert not just with sales numbers, but with cash bonuses for the whole studio, a rare move in the industry.

The payout went to staff regardless of position or direct involvement, EVERYONE, including behind-the-scenes crew, got paid. The game sold over 5 million copies in its first month. CEO Ho Jin Young thanked the team and called it only the beginning.

Fortnite

⚠️ Scandal in Fortnite: Epic Games will let players refund any cosmetics tied to singer D4vd, including the "Feel It" emote and related music tracks.

The decision follows murder allegations against the artist; he denies the charges, but evidence has sparked strong community backlash. Instant refunds go live on 28 April. The studio hasn't said whether it will remove the content entirely, for many players this isn't just about currency, it's about cutting ties with a tarnished star.

ARC Raiders

⚡️It took them ages, ARC Raiders is FINALLY reworking talents, admits Virgil Watkins.

Watkins says the core issue is a PvP/PvE imbalance that left many talent trees broken, so the studio is moving beyond mere number tweaks toward distinct playstyles, from stealthy builds to full‑on aggressive ones. A big patch lands next week bringing a new location, a boss and the Expeditions mechanic. The shooter has already sold over 14M copies.
