Alt Shift

🚀 Alt Shift and Dotemu set Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes for release on 11 May 2026. A roguelite tactics game inspired by the cult TV show: recruit survivors after the fall of the Twelve Colonies, manage a limited‑resource fleet and fight CYLONS in real‑time space battles, all wrapped in procedural narrative design.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader on Switch 2 is still in a rough state, April's optimization patch 1.5.1.2 promised stability and crash fixes but didn't solve the core problems ⚠️

Players report FPS drops, freezes during autosaves, the UI vanishing mid-fight, flickering shadows, unstable lighting and a soap-like blur (partly reduced by turning off AA). The patch even suggests reinstalling, yet many are switching back to PC because console refunds aren't available, and that only fuels the outrage. BROKEN

Diablo

Imagine Diablo dropped into the WILD West, the teaser for The Dark West from Black Hand just landed 🤠

An occult frontier where the sun never rises: roam territories warped by human greed, endure brutal violence and make soul‑shaping moral choices. The gameplay blends classic ARPG systems with a distinct cursed‑prairie aesthetic. No release date yet, but the game is already available to add to your wishlist.

Assassin's Creed

⚡️RUMOR: Assassin's Creed (2007) is reportedly getting a full remake, say multiple insiders including j0nathan.

Development allegedly began about three years ago on the latest Anvil engine, and Ubisoft is said to be aiming for the franchise's 20th anniversary in 2027. Insiders stress this won't be turned into a massive RPG marathon, expect a proper remake that modernizes the original's dated graphics and gameplay rather than bloating it. ⚡️

Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert blew past 5 million sales unusually fast, so fast that South Korea's PM Kim Min‑seok posted on X, saying the hit boosted the global prestige of Korean games and "opened a new chapter in K‑content."

The government vowed to create a friendlier environment for devs; Pearl Abyss rewarded each employee with 5 million won (almost $3.4K) and CEO Heo Jin‑young publicly thanked the team.

Nioh 3

⚡️Nioh 3 just received a hefty patch with a new HARDCORE mode, the "Stone of Repentance" system that cranks up difficulty in exchange for better rewards; basically a stress test for players who crave a challenge.

The update also adds new missions, expanded customization (extra character templates), buffs to several gear sets and a boatload of bugfixes for weapons, combat arts and movement. Full changelog is available on the official site.

Time for fear

Time for fear: SEGA and Creative Assembly dropped a terse teaser for Alien: Isolation 2, titled «False Sense of Security», it's just creepy lights in the dark 😱

The teaser is the long-awaited confirmation that the sequel is in active development. A job listing revealed the team is building the game on Unreal Engine 5, not the original Cathode Engine, after more than a decade that switch makes sense. WILD.

Assassin's Creed Hexe

⚡️Assassin's Creed Hexe lost another lead, game director Benoit Richer announced on LinkedIn that he's leaving Ubisoft.

He's leaving to found Servo Games in Quebec and will serve as its game director; co‑founders include Luc Tremblay (president, creative/technical), Alex Drouin (head of animation) and Dany Marcoux (art director). Richer has been in the industry since 2001, starting at Ubisoft Montréal, then EA and WB Games Montréal. He's the third major departure after Marc‑Alexis Côté (left in October and sued Ubisoft) and Clint Hocking (left in February). Ubisoft is still working on a summer remake, mobile Assassin's Creed Jade and PvP project Invictus, the franchise clearly in flux. INDIE

s&box

💸 s&box dropped a pre-release trailer, and the teaser isn't just gameplay: the studio is stoking hype with real money incentives for creators.

The payout pool has already surpassed $500,000, funded from Garry's Mod profits, and the team says that's just the start. Post-launch the pot may grow significantly, and with a planned internal economy and in-game purchases creators will be able to EARN directly from their modes, turning the sandbox into a legit monetization platform.
