Broken Arrow

⚠️ Broken Arrow launched a public PTE, a big test build with a tech overhaul and the new Conquest mode.

Tanks got a NUTS lethality buff, weak‑spot hits can now delete almost anything; AA, artillery, aviation and helos were rebalanced, SPGs split into clearer subclasses; infantry gained stealth for snipers and vehicle-based ammo resupply, and mortars can auto-fire. Conquest adds dynamic income and individual respawn timers, shifting the flow of battles. Full changelog, via the link.

Ubisoft

⚡️Ubisoft added assassins to For Honor: from 23 April, 14 May the event "For the Creed" runs, handing out premium outfits for Ezio, Eivor and Naoe and Yasuke, plus a shiba pet 🐕.

Free for Ubisoft+ subs, cool move, but the timing is odd: the crossover drops alongside the Black Flag remake reveal, yet Edward Kenway is strangely missing from the skins roster. Devs keep the aging champ alive, but skipping the pirate icon right now feels like a clear missed flex. LOL

MENACE

⚡️MENACE rolled out its first major Early Access update, not a tiny patch: the Workshop is live (unlocks after a Construct Operation via Starmap), but FYI: old loot in saves is incompatible with the new system, only new item versions work.

The update broadens economy and progression: black market vouchers for tier‑1 blueprints, a new master Construct unit, unique loot types, reworked Construct units (stats & abilities changed, morale no longer tied to damage/attacks), new leader‑promotion cost mechanic, improved combat states and squad‑prep UI, plus visual/sound polish including ATGM, vegetation and engine optimizations. Full changelog via the link.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced

⚡️ Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced launches July 9, 2026 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, rebuilt on Anvil with ray tracing and Dolby Atmos, seamless open world included 🏴☠️

Expect remastered naval combat, snappier parries, tighter stealth and parkour, plus a new Blackbeard storyline, pets and a photo mode. Steam lists a Russian text localization; soundtrack by Woodkid. Pre-orders are live with bonuses, price: $59.99.

ExileCon

⚡️ExileCon is returning to Auckland on 7-8 November 2026, the central meet for Path of Exile 2 fans.

Expect major announcements, early previews of new content, hands-on play zones and the chance to test updates before release. Attendees will meet the team at Grinding Gear Games, the event coincides with the studio's 20th anniversary, so devs promise a particularly packed and symbolic program. BIG HYPE

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

🚢 The beta of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord just got proper naval raids, Seaborne Village Raids.

Players and AI lords can land from ships to storm or defend coastal villages; after landing, units switch to land combat and fights move to key village points. Developers added 16 new scenes, reworked defensive AI (holders take fortified positions and high ground), added docking and trading without disembarkation, the option to pull off straight from shore, moved several villages closer to the coast to create new landing points, and fixed ship, siege and gear-visual bugs. Attack outcomes now heavily rely on the landing and your FLEET, so prepare accordingly.

90%

🤖 90% of studios already use AI, but many stay QUIET, says head of games at Google Cloud, Jack Buser.

He explains tools like Gemini and Nano Banana Pro automate the boring stuff, from idea generation to secondary content, freeing teams to focus on priorities. Buser cites Capcom as an example: they test AI across departments but avoid shipping generative assets, fearing player backlash. Buser expects player attitudes to mellow over time.

Gray Zone Warfare

🔧 Gray Zone Warfare: over 60,000 players joined the Supporter Preview and devs dropped a roadmap video, Spearhead was the biggest update so far, but it's just the beginning.

About three weeks after v0.4 the studio shipped three hotfixes plus v0.4.1.0. Player feedback directly shaped the polish: bug fixes, removal of overly aggressive suppression blur, and rebalanced equipment/weapon wear rates. The team is HUSTLING on bug fixes and further tweaks; the video teases where the project is headed and which systems will get attention next.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

💀 Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has kicked off a temporary event called Indomitable Incursion: after the Rumbling Giants hit, Tertium's streets emptied and the usual hordes are gone, only elites, specialists and real monsters remain. BRUTAL

The mode is gated to high difficulties Heresy, Damnation and Auric and runs until 10 May. Players earn in‑game currency and resources like Ordo dockets, Plasteel and Diamantine; reaching the final stage grants a unique cosmetic badge. Combat pacing changes dramatically, every encounter is a tense, team‑ending test where a single mistake can ruin the whole operation.

Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodlines 2

FINALLY: the first DLC for Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodlines 2 has been revealed, and it lets you wield guns.

The expansion adds FPS-style firearm mechanics, meaning combat functions like a first‑person shooter. Expect more direct, gun‑focused action that shifts the RPG's pace 🔫
