Stray

🐱 Stray is getting a full relaunch on Nintendo Switch 2, not a lazy port but a near‑from‑scratch build by Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve. Expect a real tech bump: 4K, higher framerate, a reworked drone B-12 and a new "mouse mode" for Joy‑Con 2.

Launch date, 28 May. A free upgrade for previous owners is still TBD; the game is already out on PC and current consoles. REBUILT

Greg Kasavin

🎮 Greg Kasavin from Supergiant Games HONESTLY: not every game becomes a legend, Hades II might fade from memory. The studio isn't hunting for a grand legacy; it's focused on making games that are fun and don't waste players' time.

They're grateful to everyone who chose Hades II, and Kasavin stresses that once a game is out it kind of stops belonging to the creators, players' experiences and memories will decide its fate.

Annapurna Interactive

🐱 Annapurna Interactive rolled out a block of ports for Switch 2, five games at once, including Stray and Wanderstop.

Some titles are already live on the eShop with free upgrades from the Switch versions and performance boosts: handheld 1080p@120fps, docked 1440p@120fps or 4K@60fps. May 28 brings Stray to NS2 (upgraded visuals, framerate and mouse support; has Russian), June 11 will add another port without RU, and June 23 sees Wanderstop arrive on both Switches (tea-shop sim; no Russian). A couple more summer releases are coming.

Devil of the Plague

🧪 Devil of the Plague, a co-op psychological horror from SoulByte Games landing in Early Access on May 1. Teams of up to 4; ready to RISK your mind?

Play as medieval healers trying to stop a curse caused by the awakening of the ancient god Asag. At launch: scavenging rare ingredients, deep elixir crafting and a madness system that can make your allies look like monsters. Devs plan active post-launch support with new locations and infected types driven by player feedback, pack your alchemy kit for early May.

Saros

⚡️ Saros, release trailer and new details from Housemarque

The trailer pairs punchy gameplay, cinematic bits and voice lines: on the hostile planet Karkosa people go mad, an opening character (Keone Young) is haunted by implanted paintings. Weapons shown include chakrams and the «Illumination Beam»; weapon types and variants are procedurally generated each run, and fights with the Lords of Karkosa look huge. Protagonist Arjun Devraj dies and respawns stronger; modifiers can ease the run (more defence/damage, lower shield drain) or crank up the pain (weapon wear, remove his "death resists", strip armour upgrades). Accessibility features: colorblind mode, dialogue-focus, button remapping. Launch, April 30 exclusively on PlayStation 5; preorders grant armour sets and 48-hour early access. WILD

Saros

⚡️The release trailer for Saros dropped a week before launch, brace for a death spiral under a sinister ECLIPSE.

The trailer teases mystery, characters, a weapons kit and boss shootouts versus the Lords of Carcosa. Devs Housemarque and SIE confirm launch on April 30. It also shows modifiers to tweak difficulty, make runs easier or DOWN them into proper chaos. Bonus: pre‑production art and worldbuilding came from Indian comic artist Ramnarayan Venkatesan, Ram V, a Marvel/DC alum and Eisner Award winner.

Soulmask

Soulmask: the launch sale bundle (game + Shifting Sands) with a 10% discount ends on April 23. Shifting Sands will be sold separately afterwards, LAST CHANCE.

Offered since the v1.0 launch, the discounted pack gave a cheaper way to grab the game + DLC; once the promo ends prices return to base, devs call it a planned move to full pricing. Soulmask is an open-world survival focused on tribe growth, exploration and party/character management.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn

🚀 Closed beta of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn from Owlcat Games already got early praise, RPGsite, Eurogamer and Polygon call it a legit cure for Mass Effect nostalgia.

Expect third‑person action, your own ship, charismatic companions and romances; the lore is woven into gameplay, so you don't need to know the books or show. Combat is more dynamic, flanking, zero‑G firefights and bulky suits add realism, but controls feel SLUGGISH and need polish. Owlcat admits AI helped with prototypes, yet promises the final content will be 100% human-made. Launch planned for 2027.

Crimson Desert

🔥Crimson Desert, big update patch 1.04.00: difficulty modes, controls overhaul, larger storages and lots of QoL.

Adds 3 difficulties (Easy/Normal/Hard), expanded storage (Strong Warehouse 1,000, Yellowbeak fridge 40/330, 1,000-slot collectible storage), new pets (birds + five cat breeds and the Talisman of Solidarity), pet accessory slot and secret pet-shop in Pororine, fresh gear for heroes, boss rebalances, improved aiming and new control presets, inventory lock, Intel XeSS tweaks, save‑corruption warning, many bug fixes and new tumbleweed fields. BUG: some players report mounts disappearing from the quick‑slot, Pearl Abyss is investigating. Platforms: PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series; Russian subtitles.
