🔥 STEAM DISCOUNTS FOR TODAY

RUINER 2

🔥 RUINER 2, frantic fights and a dense, atmospheric soundtrack are front‑and‑center in the new gameplay trailer.

Announced in March by Reikon Games, the top‑down shooter sequel has pivoted to an action‑RPG set in the dystopian mega‑city Rengkok, where corporations even own the right to your death. The «shells» system lets you swap between three fighters; weapons, armor and implants consume resources (power, processor, memory), and crafting can add unpredictable modifiers. Solo and co‑op (up to three players) share a roster of six shells. No release date announced; platform, PC (Steam, Epic). BRUTAL

PlayStation Plus

⚠️ PlayStation Plus (Extra & Premium): on May 19 a number of titles will be removed from the catalogue, hurry if you wanted to try them. They'll be GONE, including Control Ultimate Edition, Mortal Shell and MotoGP 25.

Full list: MotoGP 25 (PS5/PS4), Sand Land (PS5/PS4), Soul Hackers 2 (PS5/PS4), Mortal Shell (PS4), Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition (PS5), Control Ultimate Edition (PS5), The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (PS4) and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope (PS5/PS4).

Toei Games

👋 Toei Games is Toei's new gaming arm, with one twist: NO NEW Kamen Rider titles at launch.

Japan has long produced gaming legends, from PlayStation and Nintendo to Capcom, and now Toei joins the scene. Launching without its iconic rider is a curious, kinda bold move that leaves more questions than answers.

Kiln

🔥 Kiln from Double Fine Productions, a 4 on 4 CLAY CHAOS, landing on 23 April for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and day-one on Game Pass.

You play a spirit trapped in a clay pot that hops into new vessels to fight: matches mix destruction, weird abilities and full freedom, so outcome depends on skill, and on how weird you get. The game leans into theatrical pot-customization, a toyish-abstract visual style, and live support after launch with new maps and updates planned. Less straight-up shooter, more playful experiment where style matters as much as the win. 🎭

BALL x PIT

⏱️ BALL x PIT gets the free The Shadow Update on 27 April, it breaks the usual flow and injects proper CHAOS into the game's time mechanics.

The patch adds two new characters: The Tunneller (can attack through screen edges) and The Tiptoer (stealthy, very mobile but low HP); 11 new balls arrive at once, time-stop effects, delayed-explosion Time Bomb, chaotic Warp teleports, toxic and "erosion" attacks; four passive skills and a Guildhall building to respec and tinker with builds on the fly. Expect runs to be much less predictable and way more aggressive.

Xbox

🤔 Xbox FINALLY confirmed it's cutting the price of Xbox Game Pass, the rumours were right. But is that enough to win back skeptics, grow the subscriber base and dent rivals? It all comes down to discount size, timing and regional rules, we'll be watching for details.

PotterWorldW

🔮 Insiders at PotterWorldW say an official reveal for Hogwarts Legacy 2 could arrive this summer, with a release targeted for early 2027. Avalanche Software is hiring community staff, which feeds the rumor.

Still, many fans are SKEPTICAL, a four‑year turnaround for a full AAA sequel sounds like a 2028 slip. Summer showcases, including Summer Game Fest, should clarify next steps.
