Windrose

⚡EMERGENCY patch for Windrose: manual connectivity-server selection, Direct IP Connection and auto-save backups.

Players can pick a server manually or via ServerDescription.json and see available connections, but a server may show as online even if a real connection fails. Direct IP lets you connect straight to a server (regular or dedicated), bypassing the game's services, note this disables invites and needs manual network setup. In some edge cases the client can kick you to the menu on wrong password/version without a message. On startup the game now auto-creates backups (keeps up to 30 versions); devs recommend turning off cloud saves until the investigation finishes. Patch aims to stabilize online and protect player progress after reports of unstable connections and sync errors.

Slay the Spire 2

⚡️The devs of Slay the Spire 2 summed up month one in Early Access and laid out the development roadmap.

They're prioritizing bugs, balance and overall content quality, leaning hard on the in‑game feedback system, it gives way more useful data than forum memes. Work is organized in weekly tasks and they refuse to hire bodies just to hit fake deadlines, which lets them run EXPERIMENTS: the team already shipped Ancient dialogue and a cheese room. Near‑term plans include Steam Workshop, expanded localization, an in‑game bestiary and experimental modes; later, alternate acts, a new character, more cards/events/relics/potions. Long-term: consoles, mobile, achievements, Steam trading cards and a secret "true ending". 1.0 is still a ways off, but update structure is taking shape 😏

Hearts of Iron IV

⚠️ Hearts of Iron IV: devs are reworking the open testing branch ahead of Peace for Our Time and plan to move it onto the new 1.18 base.

Designer Zvirbaum says the open beta was meant as a temporary step, but heavy tech fixes and a revamp of core mechanics (including submarine detection balance) stretched the process. Weekly updates proved too costly, so the team proposes switching to roughly biweekly patches and maintaining the branch after the next major patch, the final call depends on player feedback and how much the community wants to keep the BETA branch.

Players suspect the twins will be playable or show up as skins; devs are hinting at Kollektiv tech, robot integrations and possibly characters like P‑3 or Professor Sechenov. Expect gradual reveals, new characters, skins and a story chapter, during a special show. WILD

The Last of Us Part III

⚡️ The Last of Us Part III might blow up the franchise myth that Ellie was the one-and-only immune.

Insiders claim Neil Druckmann once floated a whole settlement of immune people, a concept even kicked around during The Last of Us Part II development but cut to avoid diluting the Ellie vs Abby arc. If Part III adopts it, moments like the Fireflies hunt and Joel's fateful choice would get a radically different read. RUMOR, Naughty Dog hasn't confirmed.
