Corsair Cove

Build your own Tortuga, meet the pirate city‑builder Corsair Cove 🚢

Publisher Hooded Horse and dev Limbic Entertainment unveiled it at FYNG 2026. You'll build a pirate haven, wrangle a temperamental crew, run production chains from ale to flintlock pistols, and command a fleet to seize sea power and fight the Crown. Launch planned for 2026; the game is already on Steam with Russian support.

Starfield

😡 Bethesda's hotfix for Starfield on PS5 Pro flopped, the RPG still crashes minutes after launch, and for some players the patch made the game borderline UNPLAYABLE.

Bethesda said they'd fix critical bugs in Enhanced mode, but reports keep coming: hangs appear across all graphics modes, including Performance. Owners of base PS5 must wait until next week for their hotfix. Community trust in Bethesda's ports is taking a serious hit.

The Blood of Dawnwalker

⚡️ The Blood of Dawnwalker is now playable from start to finish, Rebel Wolves moved the RPG into polishing.

Studio head Konrad Tomaszkiewicz tested it on PlayStation 5 and called the result "fantastic". Production is in final stage and a 2026 release remains the priority. Devs stress AI was used only for early placeholders; the final build will have NO GENERATED assets, they're going full handcrafted for PC and current‑gen consoles.

Invincible VS

😤 The Invincible VS devs have declared war on disgusting RAGE-QUITTERS, in the final build leaving ranked matches will cost you league points.

After a wave of raid‑quits during the beta, the team, together with service Quarter Up, will roll out temporary bans and rank-access limits for repeat offenders. They've taken newbie complaints into account and will add chill training modes; client crashes and bugs have been fixed. Full release is set for April 30, and the last fighters from the starting roster will be revealed before launch.

Black Flag

⚡️Insider Tom Henderson says Black Flag: Resynced isn't a remaster but a FULL remake built on the tech of the recent entries; a closed 30‑minute demo wowed journalists with current‑gen visuals.

Official reveal and trailer are due on 23 April after the embargo. Expect expanded chapters on Edward Kenway, new missions, deeper underwater exploration, unique officers, extra world events and even ship pets (monkey/cat). Given the scope, Ubisoft looks set to sell it at full price. 🐒

ARC Raiders

😡 ARC Raiders: the third Expedition from Embark Studios has the player base furious, apparently only NO-LIFERS will be able to clear it.

Dev change: they removed the stash/currency trade-in, all 5 skill points are now granted for dealing damage by any means during a five-day window. The Expedition opens on April 28, the same day as the Riven Tides update. It's the final 2026 roadmap drop: a new map and a giant "Queen" boss.

Fairgames

Sony internal docs leaked to Insider Gaming show Fairgames from Haven Studios isn't dead, it's been retooled as an extraction shooter. In main mode Cargo Heist teams hack safes, grab high‑value cargo and race to exfil while fighting other squads. 🔥

Development's rocky: founder Jade Raymond left in 2025, testers complained about a lack of drive, and a suspiciously similar Den of Wolves, the flop Marathon and falling XDefiant revenues leave the planned free‑to‑play model looking shaky, WILD.

Chris Avellone

🕵️ Chris Avellone: the cancellation of Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound wasn't just sabotage but a SCREWUP, he calls it an "accounting error" and says it's "very suspicious" from Interplay, almost sure a payment went to the wrong recipient.

In a long interview on TKs‑Mantis (mostly about Fallout) Avellone lays out Interplay's cash crash: loss of the D&D license, BG3 canned, layoffs at Black Isle, staff shifted to Van Buren (the unreleased Fallout 3), and everything was buried in December 2003. He also twice slips and mentions 2008.

April 25

🚁 On April 25 Moscow's games cluster turns into the arena for the city's DCL: The Game drone‑racing final, winners earn sports ranks and a shot at the city team.

The race is part of "Cyber Saturday": playtests of unreleased titles, VR quests, creator meetups, dev lectures and family Minecraft workshops. The day ends with a set by Khleb. Entry is FREE but registration is required.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

🏆 Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 just made history, it won the BAFTA for Best Game.

The project from Sandfall Interactive became only the second title after Baldur's Gate 3 to claim all five major GOTY awards, edging out Ghost of Yotei and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
