🔥 EPIC GAMES DISCOUNTS FOR TODAY

Phantom Blade Zero

⚠️ Phantom Blade Zero is still one of the year's most hyped titles, but the team rejected visual AI tools that might have sped up asset creation and visual polish.

Players feared the project's huge ambition would cause an inevitable slip, 2026 is the target, yet not guaranteed; the devs chose the harder, cleaner route and said NO. Fingers crossed, we're tense 👀

Phantom Blade Zero

Phantom Blade Zero is being made without AI, S-GAME's boss (nick Soulframe) wrote on X: the game is human‑made, 3D scans of actors, their facial performances power the face animations; Chinese and English voiceovers were handled by dedicated teams and feature proper lip synchronization.

Weapons draw from traditional Chinese armaments, devs even commissioned blacksmith replicas to feel weight and length; combat motion capture involved over 20 martial‑arts masters and kung‑fu consultants; locations were scanned across China and combined into an original Asian setting, maps were hand‑painted by Central Academy artists on xuan paper. Release: 9 September on PC (Steam) and PS5, with Russian text localization.

The Relic: First Guardian

⚠️ The Relic: First Guardian won't launch on the planned 26 May 2026, it's been pushed to the end of summer. SUMMER

Developer Project Cloud Games and publisher Perp Games say the delay is about time to polish worldbuilding and systems; Perp boss Rob Edwards stresses the game's years of work and high standards. PC, PS5 and Xbox Series stay priority, while the Nintendo Switch 2 port will get extra polish and arrive a bit later.

Death by Scrolling

⚡️Rogue-lite Death by Scrolling lands on consoles on April 16, priced at $7.99. Publisher MicroProse and Terrible Toybox, led by Ron Gilbert, are shipping a big update with a new character, biome and gameplay fixes. PC debut was October 2025. The game throws you into Purgatory: the screen moves ALWAYS up and the unstoppable REAPER chases you, you can't kill it, only stall and dodge. Steam sits at 78% positive: interesting concept, but players complain about repetition, slow progression and durability woes. Coming to Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch. 💀

Frostrail

🚆 Frostrail, first PLAYTEST launches on April 16, 2026. Developer FakeFish will take sign-up requests via the game's Steam page; the title already sits on 300k wishlists.

Survival on rails: the train is your mobile base, scavenge, hunt and deeply mod your rolling stock. Constantly upgrade systems to survive escalating threats and extreme new zones.

Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror, Reforged

🔥 Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror, Reforged has already pulled in €368,000 on Kickstarter, the team aimed for €57,000 and hit it in under 15 minutes. Campaign runs until May 8, 00:00 MSK. HYPE

The remaster brings 4K with an original-image toggle, upgraded audio, cut dialogue and unlockable secrets after finishing, in-game hints and a story recap, mouse/controller/touch support, a polished UI (quick-exit, movement help, customizable subtitles), manual/autosaves and a dialogue log. Russian text included.

Romestead

🏛️ Romestead hits Steam Early Access on 26 May, a survival + city-builder set in Ancient Rome, already sitting on over 250k wishlists. Main hook, COOP for 8 players: pick a patron god for unique perks, recruit craftsmen, research techs, automate production and fight mythical beasts while growing your settlement into a thriving capital. Grab your mates and build an empire 🏺

Keywords Studios

⚠️ Keywords Studios: out of more than 500 AI tools tested, only about 6 proved genuinely useful in real game production, the rest are flashy demos and mostly useless in practice.

Transformation lead Jon Gibson points out the industry oddity: roughly 90% of teams already USE AI, yet 52% feel negative about it because companies fail to explain why they're adopting these tools. Gibson's rule: identify problems first, then pick solutions. 🤨

Dune: Awakening

⚠️ Dune: Awakening is cutting endgame PvP, Funcom's Steam post for patch 1.3.20.0 says only ~20% of players touch PvP, so PvP zones in the Hagg Basin will be disabled on official worlds and the Deep Desert will become a choice: PvP or PvE (PvP grants 2.5× resources). Private servers with tweakable rules (gather rates, build-piece caps, item durability, etc.) are planned, with more options to come based on feedback. PC build includes Russian text; the game has > 74,000 reviews at 70% positive, and console versions are slated for this year. JUST sayin'.
