Road to Vostok

🚀 Road to Vostok recouped a "multi‑year" production budget within 24 hours of its early access launch on 7 April 2026, shooting straight up the Steam charts.

Solo dev Antti Leinonen, an ex‑Finnish officer, called the launch "absolute madness". The game earned Very Positive reviews; after switching from Unity to Godot in 2023 it still found its crowd. Players are exploring Zone 05 on the Finland, Russia border, fighting bandits and prepping for the permadeath East. Secured funding lets the developer double the map, add new survival systems and, down the line, a CO‑OP mode. WILD

Red Dead Redemption 2

🤯 A streamer is trying to beat Red Dead Redemption 2 on a weak laptop and is capped at 4 FPS, the first mission took almost 12 hours, and the full run could take roughly 500 hours at this pace.

His rig is an Intel Core i5-8300H with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB); a mobile 1050 Ti should perform much better, so the issue is likely overheating or user-side. Viewers are shocked by his MAD patience, the streams look like a slow‑motion slide show and a bizarre digital endurance run.

Digital Extremes

⚡️ Digital Extremes revealed how native Warframe on Nintendo Switch 2 hits 60 FPS, essentially thanks to DLSS and a 540p render.

The game renders at 540p and upscales with a lightweight DLSS to 1080p. Devs say without DLSS they'd have to cut framerate or seriously dumb down visuals. WEAK handheld, 60 FPS is only possible with that tech.

Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal (mobile ARPG) gets a crossover with DOOM: The Dark Ages, expect medieval‑futurist carnage and BRUTAL vibes 💀
