Ghost of Yotei: Legends

🐉 Ghost of Yotei: Legends gets a 4-player RAID on April 10. Sucker Punch confirmed the season finale: a showdown with the Six Yotei's leader, Lord Saito, and a mysterious Dragon.

New interaction mechanics turn fights into tactical puzzles, victory will hinge on razor‑tight coordination and flawless builds. Update the game before the drop if you want to be first in.

Battlefield 6

⚡️ Battlefield 6's seasonal Nightfall, which launched on March 17, noticeably slowed and darkened combat, players adapted fast and began experimenting with new tactics and unconventional movement.

Devs listened: in the Hunter/Prey phase core Nightfall elements, including VL-7 Smoke and the night mode, will be added to Portal, making them usable outside limited events. The team is monitoring community reaction and may bring these modes back or fold them into permanent systems to increase gameplay variety and let players experiment more. HYPE

turn-based roguelite

Announced: a vertical, turn-based roguelite survival, Ascenders: Beyond the Peak 🧗

From Ludogram and Twin Sails Interactive, a tactical climb‑and‑survive about roped teams tackling cursed peaks: characters are physically linked by a rope system, pull, anchor or risk sacrificing allies. Expect Lovecraftian threats, class roles (assaults, hook‑scouts, demolitions), lasting deaths/injuries and mental scars, camp upgrades, factions and route choices that shape the world. Every run forces hard decisions and is BRUTAL.

Marathon

⚡️ Marathon patch 1.0.6 drops on April 14. Bungie prepped the balance notes: Recon's Echo Pulse will be harder to spot, and firing it after jamming lets you pass as a UESC ally, making range reads trickier. MEAN Tracker Drones get a teeth‑upgrade: better accuracy, stronger pursuit, and automatic retargeting if they lose sight. Mid‑season update aims to shake up tactics and make scouting actually matter.

Netmarble

⚡️ Netmarble is staging a global online finale, the First Dive Show for MONGIL: Star Dive lands on April 8 at 12:00 MSK on the game's official YouTube.

Think of it as the final deep dive into core mechanics and worldbuilding a week before launch: the release is set for April 15, 2026 on PC and mobile. The title carries on from 2013's Monster Taming and was rebuilt on Unreal Engine 5. DON'T MISS

Take-Two

🤖 Take-Two is shaking up its AI department: Luke Dicken and his team have been let go, possible LAYOFFS?

The reorg reportedly hit a unit largely built from Zynga (acquired in 2022 for $12.7 billion). No headcount was released and the company declined to comment. Likely a pullback on AI investment after repeated public criticism by CEO Strauss Zelnick. 🤖

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon

⚡️Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon just got a big FREE upgrade, Merlin's Tomb, the third no-cost DLC from Questline. 😈

Main hook: an endgame dungeon in the Forlorn Swords for level 75 heroes. You must reassemble the Soul of the King before facing the magic-corrupted Merlin, the new pinnacle of difficulty. Alongside came patch 1.21: armor presets for quick build swaps, softened Mana Shield penalties, Act 3 rebalance, UI tweaks and fresh weapons.

CD Projekt RED

From hate to love: how CD Projekt RED rescued Misty Olszewska in Cyberpunk 2077 🤯

Voice actor Erika Lindbeck admits Misty began as a PASSING, empty character, she expected Meredith Stout to be the big role. Devs rewrote Misty repeatedly; the breakthrough came when they reimagined her as a «soft Harley Quinn from New Jersey» and expanded her into a spiritual counterpoint to the cold tech of Night City. Misty ultimately outshone Meredith and became one of Lindbeck's favorite roles, while the actor still jokes about the original, "punished" version.

The Last of Us Online

The Last of Us Online GOT KILLED so we could get a bald huntress in Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

Former Naughty Dog director Vinit Agarwal revealed the canceled online project had been in development for 7 years and was about ~80% complete. Pandemic spending blew up the budget, and by 2023 interest in online services dropped, the studio chose to reallocate resources to the single‑player Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Agarwal later worked on another unannounced solo project.

Behaviour Interactive

⚡️ Behaviour Interactive told IGN that Dead by Daylight 2 will NEVER be released, project lead Mathieu Côté said so.

The team will keep investing in long‑term support: over 8 years the game grew from a modest indie horror into a genre "Hall of Fame", and a sequel would split the huge community, wipe progress, cosmetics and dozens of negotiated licensed characters. Developers note that engine and graphical upgrades can be done inside the existing client, so a "Part 2" is unnecessary.
