Into the Slimy Mines

⛏️ Into the Slimy Mines lands on May 29.

Wales Interactive & Ant Workshop throw you onto a hostile moon: your ship crashes, you must find your crew, haul the ore and escape before some "more competent" dwarf takes your job. It's a roguelike mixed with tower‑defense, dig tunnels with cards, set up turrets and gadgets, merge buildings to beef up defenses and survive waves of SLIMES. Six locations, three factions, gear tuning, demo available and Russian text included. 🛡️

Pantheon

⚡️ Pantheon, a massive "historical restoration" for Total War: Rome II after 13 years.

Creative Assembly announced a FREE three-phase overhaul: "Mars" (combat AI & tactics), "Venus" (visuals & UI) and "Jupiter" (campaign pace & tech tree). Updates will be rolled out via open betas on Steam, offering a full rework of the classic into a modern platform, no remake purchase required.

Space Engineers

⚙️ Space Engineers just got a major update, Economy 2. The patch is FREE, and there's an optional paid Economy 2 Pack with decorative blocks.

The flagship is the Services Terminal: save whole grids (ships and bases) into a storage to free up PCU, restore them with precise placement via Precision Mode, perform quick repairs for in‑game currency and scrap unwanted builds. The economy got a serious redesign, the new Economy Overview merges contracts, prices and stock into one panel, plus a search that compares NPC and player offers. Store Block got more slots, now trades gases (oxygen, hydrogen) and NPC prices are tuned to be more competitive in multiplayer. Result: trading stops being a checkbox and actually matters in gameplay. 🛠️

Lillian Powell

A fresh wave of FAN THEORIES about Lillian Powell popped up in Red Dead Redemption 2, and it shows why the game never truly dies: the tragedy of Arthur Morgan has a clear beginning, middle and end.

Still, the community keeps the world alive, debates, discoveries and endless speculation stretch the game's life and make it feel practically infinite 🤠

Sandfall Interactive

Sandfall Interactive is talking about expanding the world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33; voice actress Kirsty Ryder, who played Lumé, says she's ready to come back.

No official sequel yet, the sticking point is the game's multiple endings, which would force devs to pick a canonical finish. The studio stays quiet, and fans and cast are HOPING the project's success can become the foundation for a full franchise. 🤞

Obsidian

‼️ Obsidian will delist the original The Outer Worlds on May 27, it's being replaced by the updated Spacer's Choice Edition.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

⚡️Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era moved 650,000 copies in just 5 days, a SOLID launch, even if devs Unfrozen, Hooded Horse and Ubisoft might've aimed to wait for 750,000 or a million. On Steam the game sits at 89% positive from ~9,000 reviews and hit a 60,000 peak online, not counting Game Pass.

Hooded Horse head Tim Bender says it's great to see the new entry in the classic series get such a warm player response.🔥

Horizon Hunters Gathering

⚡️ Horizon Hunters Gathering runs a second closed test May 22-25 on PC (Steam) & PS5. Apply via PlayStation Beta Program, selected players receive invite codes for two friends, but a spot isn't guaranteed.

What's incoming: a new region (jungles, ruins, desert outskirts); two hunters, Ensa (Oseram smuggler, ex‑merc) and Shade (Carja covert agent who can turn invisible and ambush); a narrative episode to defend a valley; two harder tiers for Machine Invasion and extra deadly zones in Descent into the Cauldron; training modules and NPCs for solo play. Hardware Unboxed

⚠️ Hardware Unboxed called out a performance trick in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight: the PC specs promise 30 FPS on low, but that's just a visual layer on top of a base 15 FPS, so game logic still runs slow and players suffer serious input lag.

Experts say the publisher refused to properly optimize Unreal Engine 5 and is hiding behind NVIDIA Frame Generation, FG only helps when you start from ~60 FPS, otherwise it's pure SCAM 😒
