Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

🏆 Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was the big name at the BAFTA Games Awards 2025: the French JRPG tied for first with an unnamed superhero interactive series, both walked away with three wins, while a samurai action grabbed two.

Expedition 33 is only the second game ever to sweep five major prizes: Golden Joystick Awards, The Game Awards, D.I.C.E. Awards, Game Developers Choice Awards and BAFTA Games Awards. Notable cast credits include Jennifer English (Mael), Ben Starr, Charlie Cox and Kirsty Rider.

Battlefield 6

⚡️ Battlefield 6 drops its 2026 roadmap, devs actually look like they're LISTENING to the community.

The plan is packed with long‑requested fixes and features: balance passes, fresh content and QoL changes aimed at healing the rough launch, but will a year of updates be enough to steer Battlefield 6 back to respectability, regain players' trust and erase the launch scars?

Sword Art Online

👀 The Sword Art Online world got a fresh gameplay trailer, Echoes of Aincrad shown at Galaxies Spring Showcase 2026. From Game Studio and Bandain Namco: floor-by-floor exploration of a floating fortress, tense real‑time combat, and slow-burn progression of your handcrafted avatar, stats, swordsman skills, weapon & armor choice plus blacksmith upgrades. All to survive a deadly game while teaming with a unique AI companion. WILD

Patch 2.0

🔧 Patch 2.0 for Crystalfall fixes endgame BUGS, city portal now lasts 10 minutes (was 5), and characters no longer clip into textures.

Resurrection, aura movement and the local UI are patched; fire‑arrow drop was tweaked, plus titles and a news ticker were added. On Steam players report infinite loading and demand balance changes, inventory search and lower high‑level damage.

Pickmos

Controversial Palworld knockoff Pickmos has been pulled from Steam, publisher Networkgo said on 16 April it's taking direct oversight to "improve the game based on player feedback."

The project renamed itself from Pickmon to Pickmos just a week earlier (supposedly to fit a "great Cosmos" lore), but many see that as a flimsy attempt to distance from a Nintendo‑adjacent brand. The Steam community slammed the release as plagiarism and an asset‑flip made from stolen models and fan art; devs promise to rework assets and relist the store page after publisher sign‑off. EPIC FAIL 😬

Echobreaker

⚡️ Echobreaker, a breakneck action about merciless test runs, from Weekend Games and Upstream Arcade, set in 2097.

You play a test pilot hired by TDS Industries to push an experimental suit powered by an unstable temporal echo engine: speedrun-grade precision, perfect lines and a tradeoff, more speed costs your health. Echo State slows time to shred enemies; higher tempo "breaks" time and unlocks risky shortcuts. Runs are recorded, earn medals, sent to a global leaderboard; instant restarts let you race your own echo. Releases this year on PC on Steam only. INSANE

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era

⚡️ Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, all factions squeezed into a single 3‑minute gameplay reel; less than two weeks until early access.

The clip highlights core features and the combat potential of every faction. Streams kick off tonight, WATCH live broadcasts in the game's categories on major platforms to see real-time gameplay. Don't miss it.

LANDJUT

⚔️ LANDJUT DLC lands in WARNO, the fight for Denmark is live.

Eugen Systems imagines a Warsaw Pact invasion: you can defend Jutland and Zealand as NATO or lead a large amphibious assault for the Eastern Bloc. The expansion adds 8 new divisions (including Danish units, US Marines, Polish and GDR mechanized troops) and a roster of iconic hardware: F-14A Tomcat, Leopard 1A5, Tu-22, Ka-29. WILD

Forza Horizon 6

⚡️Forza Horizon 6 just dropped the Tokyo trailer, the biggest urban region the series has ever built: a dense megacity full of scenic views, neon streets and endless driving toys.

Ahead of the PC and Xbox Series release on May 19, 2026, Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios are rolling out biomes and kicked things off with Tokyo: from Tokyo Tower and Shibuya Crossing to the iconic Daikoku Parking, a required stop for any carhead. HYPED.
